June Sales and Donation Update!

It's amazing how fast June went by! The first month of summer is already gone, and now we are getting at the Fourth of July! This month was an interesting one for Emmy's Boutique, as sales were slow which allowed for a lot of brainstorming and new designs. We returned back to our normal rescue and donated half of our sales to Black Ops Rescue which was $45! Let's take a look at everything that was worked on this month!

This month we started out with the great purchase of a pool backdrop so our pups could get in on the summer fun! People seemed to really love these pictures, so we included a chalk drawing photoshoot as well where the dogs were scuba diving and exploring space. The scrunchies got in on it too with a floral pattern and an abstract pattern! 

We posted a couple new items this month included the Yoga Inspired Scrunchie Dog and we have the beginnings of some Halloween items. It may be early for wearing Halloween items, but it is never too early to buy them!

 

 

We saw some fun pups go home included the Space Themed Dachshund and our Velveteen Scrunchie Dogs! We had some scrunchie sales as well to include our limited edition Pride and Paw Print Scrunchie as well as the all time favorite Batik Scrunchies Pack.

                                         

While it was slower this month in sales, we were still able to donate $45 to Black Ops Rescue. We know that people are spending more time outside, able to shop at local stores, and they are still recovering from the pandemic so the slow in sales was expected. 

Our sewing tutorial series is moving along as well! We had a lot of fun videos this month to include how to sew American Girl Doll Clothes, how to sew placemats, and how to sew a bookmark! These videos and patterns are all free and a great way to learn to sew! 

With all of this said, you may be wondering what is in store for July?! This month will be all about restocking our store! We have about 13 new pups ready to be sewn up to include a Paris themed dachshund, a craft themed dog, a Camping Lover Dog, Halloween pups and Christmas Dogs. We have lots of scrunchies coming too!
